Default RA build was it luck of the group??? Or is it the build???

I am boggled on this one…….. I ran a different style of this a last weekend and got 3 glad points. I ran it again last night and got 3 more glad points. When I am running my normal ele skills I have problems getting 1 glad point. Was it luck of the group??? Or is it the build??? Only reason I even tried it was because I am using it on a PVP character. And have been trying things I never used before.

[skill]Conjure Flame[/skill] [skill]Flare[/skill] Glyph of immolation [skill]bed of coals[/skill] [skill]heket's rampage[/skill] [skill]Heal as one[/skill] [skill]charm animal[/skill] [skill]resurrection signet[/skill]

Everyone loves flare LOL but it does work a bit better when you cast Glyph of Immolation and time your burns on your target

Weapon: Fiery Longbow of Enchanting

Why would I get more off this then other builds??

And to top it off my skill attributes are spread all over the place

BoC with no KD = waste. Charm and HaO with no pet buffer/thumper skills = waste. The whole build is just kind of random skills slapped together.

Not to say you shouldn't keep looking for fresh, new builds, but this one's success is wholly accredited to luck or to your teammates.

luck because everyone else says it was o.0

actually, (this is kinda off topic) but i had great success with a ranger/fire ele build in factions for a little while (till i deleted him).

I remember once getting 13 wins using a smiting monk with daggers. It's all about luck.

I'm going to go ahead and be different, and say that all the other teams were just more terrible. That build is bad. It makes me cry.

That build is bad, but E/R Beastmasters aren't always bad! An Ele with Ferocious Strike can actually be pretty amusing.

RA is always about luck. You can run a bad build and win (like you did), you can run a good build and lose.

I think you stole my last pieces of luck! You get 3 glads with shit when i run cripslash and interrupt 99% sure with disarm and knock almost always with bull's. What's wrong? Yes, foes sucks but... our team sucks usually twice as much. (I'm not perfect either i know) I 1-2 hours with that and... 1 glad point. I can't even imagine all the bars my team members had.

I remember getting multiple glad points with divine boon + RoF as my only skills. BTW, luck is everything in RA.

Jeez, why is everyone saying it's luck? I think if he used an enchanting fire staff instead of a bow, and put 9 points in staff mastery for extra damage, it'd be a really good build. Staff mastery helps you get more criticals with staff hits. It's really good.
